This Refund Policy ("Policy") describes GridInsight's policy regarding refunds for subscription fees paid for our Service. By subscribing to GridInsight, you agree to this Refund Policy.
GridInsight is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides energy analytics and monitoring services through subscription plans. This Policy applies to all subscription plans (Starter, Professional, Enterprise) and billing periods (monthly and annual).
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we understand that circumstances may arise where a refund is appropriate. This Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted.

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
If the Service is unavailable or non-functional for more than 48 consecutive hours due to our fault, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund for the affected period.
If you are charged incorrectly due to a billing error on our part, we will issue a full refund of the incorrect charge and correct the error.
If you are charged multiple times for the same subscription period, we will refund all duplicate charges.
For annual subscription plans, if you cancel within 14 days of your initial subscription or renewal, you may be eligible for a full refund, minus any usage-based charges incurred.
If the Service significantly differs from what was advertised and you notify us within 30 days of subscription, we may provide a refund at our discretion.

We will review your refund request within 5-7 business days and respond via email. If approved, refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days to your original payment method.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the subscription. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and may take up to 30 days.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your paid period.
Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund past charges unless you meet the refund eligibility criteria outlined in this Policy.
If you request immediate cancellation (before the end of your billing period), you will lose access to the Service immediately, but you are not automatically entitled to a refund for the unused portion unless you meet the refund eligibility criteria.
When you upgrade your plan, you will be charged the difference on a pro-rated basis. The upgrade takes effect immediately.
When you downgrade your plan, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will receive a credit for the unused portion of your current plan, which will be applied to your next billing cycle. No refunds are issued for downgrades.
Enterprise plans are subject to custom terms and conditions as specified in your Enterprise Agreement. Refund terms for Enterprise plans may differ from standard subscription plans and will be outlined in your specific contract.
